LIGRO ART
Ligro is a Budapest-based textile artist whose work explores vulnerability, resilience, and transformation through the material language of textile.
My works investigate the relationship between body, gesture, and structure, often evoking fragmented vertical forms that suggest the presence of the human figure.
I have always been drawn to unique forms, large surfaces, and nature, which I combine in my work. My creations emerge through a meditative process, inspired by natural dyes and the distinctive scent of wax. Through my art, I aim to convey my deep connection to nature and my passion for creation.
I have presented my work in smaller galleries and international textile exhibitions, including the Miami Textile Biennale, 2025.
