FOR INTERIOR DESIGNERS AND TRADE
I work with interior designers to create large-scale, handmade textile pieces that are made specifically for a space - not selected from an existing collection, but shaped around it.
Every piece is one of a kind: cotton canvas, dyed and treated by hand through a self-developed technique combined with batik and natural dyes, finished through ironing and steaming into a firm, self-supporting surface. Nothing is mass-produced, and no two pieces are alike - which means a work made for your project exists nowhere else.
CUSTOM SIZE AND COLOR
Dimensions, color palette, and composition can all be adapted to a specific wall, room, or brief. If you're working with a defined space or a client's palette, I can develop a piece around it rather than asking you to work around mine.
Pieces are available up to 270 x 190 cm as a single panel. Larger works, up to 550 x 190 cm, can be created as a triptych - three panels installed together as one piece.
HOW WE WORK TOGETHER
1) Consultation - we discuss the space, the brief, size, color direction, and timeline.
2) Concept - I share a direction (sketch, palette, reference to existing work) before starting.
3) Creation - the piece is hand-dyed and finished in my Budapest studio, typically within 2-6 weeks depending on size and complexity - closer to 6 weeks if multiple commissions are in progress at the same time.
4) Delivery - pieces are shipped rolled in a protective tube, a method that has safely carried my work internationally before, including to the 11th WTA Biennial in Miami. Personal delivery within Budapest can also be arranged.
